WKD is without a doubt the best plumber I've ever hired. After 50+ years of home ownership where I've done many repairs myself because often, the tradesmen I've hired have not been very good or reasonably priced. The job I had done was major - replacement of a Whole House pressure pump. It was a complicated install with a lot of valves and piping.


WKD was on time, polite, considerate, did quality work and cleaned up. I couldn't ask for more and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

Kevin kept me update on each step of my plumbing process. Answered all questions, and explained things in detail. I will definitely us Kevin for all my plumbing needs in the future

I needed to have my 17 year old tankless natural gas water heater replaced in my attic.Kevin was very professional and responsive throughout the entire process. From getting an estimate, to job completion. In my case, there was some minor roofing work that needed to be done in order to complete the job, so I hired a roofing company to properly replace the boot on top of my roof along with a few shingles and such. This was necessary to ensure that no water damage from rain could occur and was not a job that I would expect anyone besides a roofer to tackle. Kevin even kept in touch with me throughout that process as well! He actually cares about his customers and wants to ensure that they end up with great results. The workmanship that he provided is top notch (he does it right the first time)! If I ever have any other plumbing issues, he's going to be the first person I call on to do the job. Very highly recommended, I'd give him 10 stars if I could!!

Kevin was a blessing. He stalled a water heater for my mother, and I also had issues at my house with a water leak In my yard, which he found right away and was able to repair. Then I had a pipe that had burst in the wall and he was able to fix that as well. He was professional and prices we very reasonable. I will be using Kevin whenever I need plumbing done. I work in the food industry and we had a plumbing problem that shut down our restaurants bathrooms...if you know anything about the food industry then you know you have to shut down until the issue is resolved. I called WKD plumbing and he was out to fix the issue within 30 minutes. He fixed the issues very quickly so we were able to reopen without to much loss of sales. Definitely would recommend. When I explained to him my issues he made it a priority and that really makes all the difference.

Kevin did amazing on our townhouse in Vestavia Hills! In and out in 20 min! Will def recommend him to everyone in the surrounding areas.

We needed some gas line redirected and connected to the hot water heater due to a gas leak. Kevin took care of us as if it was his own home. Very patient with all our questions. Well mannered and will be our plumbing and gas person from here on out.

I've worked with Kevin for years, and if you want honest, quality work done at a reasonable price, this is your company!

Replaced outside 48 yr old leaking hose bibb, so old a different hose bibb had to be installed. He unclogged a cast iron sewer discharge pipe from house to septic tank, reset toilet that was leaking at floor, unclogged shower drain and more. When septic line got clogged on 12/30 Kevin was in his car on the way to visit family in Florida. He made numerous calls to fellow plumbers to ask them to come help me. None worked out. The minute Kevin got back in town on 1/1, he called to check on me. I had managed to get the septic tank emptied but discharge line was still blocked. Kevin came to help me the next day. He worked VERY HARD and cleared the blockage in the cast iron pipe...then reset the leaking toilet and then cleared the blockage in the shower drain. What a blessing this man is! And all at such a reasonable charge. He is very pleasant and nice and goes far beyond the call. I HIGHLY recommend WKD Plumbing. You won't regret making that call to Kevin at WKD.
